HEAT THERAPY

WHAT IS HEAT THERAPY?

Heat in the bloodstreams is caused by increased energy activity that causes blood vessels to dilate (vasodilation). Because more space is created in the bloodstreams, blood flow accelerates. Thanks to this increased blood flow, the transport of oxygen and nutrients is more efficient, which improves flexibility, flexibility and mobility of muscles and joints.

ADVANTAGES

Muscles and joints that are warmed or heated thanks to vasodilation (widening) experience the following benefits:

• Decrease in muscle tension because muscle fibers relax.
• Increased flexibility of the connective tissue that supports flexibility.
• Reduced resistance in the joint zones due to reduction of synovial fluid.
• Reduction of pain caused by shortened fascia and possible muscle spasms.

DO USE

Applying heat is most appropriate in the following 3 circumstances:

1. Before starting the warm-up during exercise.
2. After the acute phase of an injury (usually after 72 hours) and when entering the subacute phase.
3. In chronic conditions such as stiffness caused by arthritis, which causes nagging and persistent joint pain.

DO NOT USE

It is not recommended to apply heat treatments during the acute phase of inflammation or injuries (heat can even have a very adverse effect) such as sprains, strains, knee injuries, fractures or dislocations.

Heat therapy should never be applied to open wounds and to people who have circulation problems (consulting a doctor first is strongly recommended).

INTENSE HOT MUSCLE GEL

The natural ingredients in our HOT gel all contribute to the activation of energy in the blood vessels and fibers surrounding muscle structures. The effects of using the HOT gel can be divided into 2 phases:

First 30 minutes after application
Depending on the skin type and (body) condition, an intense activation of energy takes place, resulting in a deep warm feeling for a relative period of time.

Up to 4 hours after application
Once the body has adapted to the "vessel dilation process" the feeling of warmth decreases. However, the accelerated circulation and transport of oxygen and nutrients remains active and will decrease gradually.

Main Ingredients

The INTENSE HOT MUSCLE GEL consists mainly of natural ingredients, each with their own specific characteristics.
The collaboration of these ingredients results in a very effective product that provides an intense and long-lasting effect.

HIPPOCASTANUM

HORSE CHESTNUT

Increases blood flow in veins, improves the circulation of oxygen and nutrients and has powerful anti-inflammatory properties.

Horse chestnut contains aescin, which has been shown to have an anti-inflammatory effect and is proven to be effective for blood circulation (1).

VITIS VINIFERA

WINE LEAF

Ensures an improved (local) cardiovascular system and healthy blood circulation in combination with antioxidant activity.

Red vine leaves (AS195) have been proven to have a beneficial therapeutic role (2) in improving blood circulation.

MILLEFOLIUM

YANDLEAF

Stimulates the dilation of capillaries which increases blood circulation. In addition, this herb strengthens the walls of the veins.
It has also been proven that so-called inflammation makers (e.g. rheumatism, osteoarthritis, etc.) can be significantly influenced by the use of yarrow (3).

COMPOUND:
The intense HOT gel consists of 80% natural ingredients and water, contains a minimal amount of extra additives and a very small amount of preservatives to ensure that our gels continue to work for up to 12 months after opening.

OTHER NOTEWORTHY INGREDIENTS:
Water (dilution), Alcohol (viscosity), Glycol (hydrant), Natural Caster Oil (emulsifier), Camphor (analgesic), Valeriana Officinalis (relaxant), Melissa Officinalis (anti-inflammatory).

CONCLUSION

The INTENSE HOT MUSCLE GELS from RÉVVI are free of chemicals and have a unique composition of natural ingredients. The main purpose of the “vasodilator” properties is to maximally and optimally repair and/or protect the affected area of the body.

The use of the INTENSE HOT MUSCLE GEL is highly recommended in the treatment of low to medium painful areas caused by chronic conditions (e.g. osteoarthritis, rheumatism or persistent back, neck and shoulder complaints) or for warming up muscles, tendons and joints, for example during sports.
